Thank God we found Haciendas at Grace Village! From the CEO Janet, and all the superb staff and Caregivers of Building B. We found a true Home for Dad with family. He was taken care of every day to include a check by the Registered Nurse. Grace has provided us with peace of mind.

Probably the best place in Cruces if you can afford it. I must admit I have lost faith in them in recent months. I feel like my brother was summarily kicked out. Profoundly disappointed.

Haciendas at Grace Village has been a tremendous help for both a family member and friends. The caring, professional staff provide the ideal level of care needed for those with memory care diagnoses. They have been the hands on, reliable and consistent care team we need so that we can be present as loving family and friends. In addition to diligent medical and personal care, good nutritious meals, and clean living spaces, residents are able to enjoy activities and exercise as desired. Haciendas has been a Godsend for us!

We moved our 91 year old mother into one of the memory units eight months ago. The level of care and professionalism is extraordinary. The caregivers are marvelous in their day-to-day dealing with memory issues while maintaining respect for the individual resident. The nursing and administrative staff handle EVERYTHING for the resident and their family with efficient professionalism and a positive "can do " attitude. The decor and design of the 12 resident hacienda has a intimate home-like feel with small gathering areas as well as an open floor plan for freedom of movement for the residents. Did I mention the delicious food?
Because the Haciendas at Grace Village is such a caring complete care facility and has relieved me of a lot of my responsibilities and worries, I can now truly have a better and more loving relationship with my mother.

We are abundantly grateful for the care my Mom receives at Haciendas at Grace Village. She has been there about 1 1/2 years and it has made a wonderful improvement in her quality of life and comfort in her final years. The caring, thoughtful, knowledgeable, compassionate staff is such an improvement over other facilities she was in before coming to Haciendas.
Haciendas staff has shown genuine care for my Mom all day, every day. At her previous facility, she was mostly left in bed alone and didnt get social interaction or enrichment, which exacerbated her dementia and incontinence. At Haciendas, she has done the arts and craft, music, tai chi (for the first time in her life) and making friends as we had hoped. Her life is so much richer.
The haciendas are lodge-like, more like a home than an institution. After moving in, Mom said she was in "Buckingham Palace". :-) That's such a gift ... having your Mom or other loved one feel like they are in a special place instead of a warehouse for the elderly. The different Haciendas allow memory care and different levels of assisted living needs to be grouped together.
Haciendas at Grace Village have kitchens in each hacienda. Some cooking is done in each building; which adds to the homey-ness. Even if a particular meal is cooked next door, the staff in each hacienda serve meals tailored to each resident, on a table that is set for each meal. We have been impressed to witness each resident's meal or beverage be tailored to their personal preference. Meals are planned for good nutrition and augmented with some snacks, if desired.
Timely, accurate medications are another huge advantage of having my Mom at Haciendas at Grace Village. We have only been confident in the chain of custody and delivery of her medications since she has been there. In other facilities, we thought irregular med administration and lack of cost concern were part of the poor treatment or institutionalizing.
Related, the nurse and case management have only been outstanding. Instead of having non-productive and expensive doctor's appointments because an elderly person with dementia is sent to the doctor with a uninformed babysitter of a caretaker, Haciendas goes above and beyond to make sure current medical information is hand-carried to scheduled appointments. They regularly communicate with Mom's M.D./doctor's office and avoid her making unnecessary and uncomfortable travel.
Overall, my Mom is receiving the best care that could be available at Haciendas at Grace Village. We highly recommend Haciendas at Grace Village for all assisted living and memory care needs.

I am very satisfied with the care my husband receives at Haciendas at Grace Village. He has been a resident in the memory care unit for over a year now. The staff is wonderful, from the office personnel to the caregivers and other support staff. Each resident has his/her own room and private bath, which is preferred for those with memory issues. Each of the four buildings houses 10 residents, so that they receive personalized care. The food is nutritious, well-balanced and tasty. I do not worry about my husband. He is getting better care than I could provide him in our home. I don't know what I would do without Haciendas at Grace Village.
